By throwing your router out the window, you might have been able to avoid seeing the bevy of Tokyo Game Show rumours spiraling out of control all over the Internet this week. In which case, you will be most surprised to learn of DMC: Devil May Cry, the anticipated fifth title in Capcom's legandary hack and slash action series, in development with our good friends at Ninja Theory.

Ninja Theory, that is, of Heavenly Blade and Enslaved. The new development team seem to have taken the series in a new direction, which some are calling a reboot - perhaps accurately, since the franchise seems to have dropped its numbering for this one.

The Dante who appears in the launch trailer is a younger man, his white hair just growing in from the back of the skull, apparently locked in some kind of mental institution, and... how can we put it?
